Sessions run for 1 hour, which will always include 30 min on the skating treadmill.

  • What is the player to coach ratio?
We have a maximum of 3 kids per group.

  • What are the equipment requirements?
Players 8 years old and younger must wear full equipment (minus shoulder pads).
Players over 9 years old must wear helmet, gloves, stick and skates.

  • What are the benefits of training on the treadmill?
You will receive one on one instruction with video analysis.
We incorporate shooting, passing, stickhandling, goal scoring, and puck protection.

  • Will the treadmill dull or ruin my skates?
The treadmill will dull your skates, but will not cause any damage to them.

  • Does it feel like real ice?
Yes, generally after 15 minutes on the treadmill it will begin to feel "normal."

  • What happens if the players fall?
All players wear a safety harness, which prevents injuries from falls.

  • When can we use the facility?
Advanced bookings are required for the training equipment.

  • As a parent, can I watch the sessions?
Yes, we have a viewing area, but kids can also be dropped off for their sessions.

  • How is the progress recorded?
We use an IPAD2 to record and teach certain sessions. Short video clips will be emailed throughout the course of the year.
