Jessie was born and raised in Quesnel, BC where he played minor hockey. Jessie played Junior A with the Langley Chiefs of the BCHL for 3 seasons and was named team captain in his final season. After junior, Jessie went on to play for the Colorado Eagles of the CHL before deciding to continue his education. Jessie spent a year playing for the SAIT Trojans, finishing the season winning the ACAC Championship. He then decided to pursue a degree at Mount Royal University and played for 4 seasons with the Mount Royal Cougars (ACAC and CIS) winning another ACAC Championship in his first season with the Cougars. Jessie graduated from Mount Royal University with an Applied Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Entrepreneurship, Sport and Recreation.
Jessie has worked with a number of hockey camps around Calgary, where he found his passion for teaching the fundamentals of the game. Jessie uses his passion, knowledge and experience to provide a positive atmosphere and support athletes to reach their goals.
